Scandinavia

Norway was a place that I had always dreamed of going to. This opportunity fell into my lap last fall and I had to take the leap and go! My ancestors are from Scandinavia, so getting to see and experience the place our families came from was so cool.

This particular trip was during February, right in the heart of their winter season. We had cold weather, beautiful snowy train rides through the mountains, sauna and cold plunge and more. A true winter Nordic experience!

The last full day of the trip we drove two hours to Gothenburg, Sweden! These are a few photos from our day in the city.

I will forever be thankful this trip worked out. It’s got my itch even stronger to get back to this part of the world sooner rather than later!
